Hello

My name is Don Gillingham and I am the Minister at Capron Lutheran Church. Don currently resides in Loves Park with his wife Pam who is a second grade teacher. He has 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Don has served in Lutheran Education since 1977. He began his ministry at Capron Lutheran in August of 2022. 

Don is committed to the future of the universal church and believes the potential of the church is maximized when meaningful partnerships are nurtured. 

Don has a relaxed preaching style. He has a drive to empower volunteers. You will see him at local events as he continues to learn about Boone county history and the focus of life in this rural community.
